Using the CF 617 TL Bracket

The CF 617 TL Bracket has been designed to provide a fast, stable and repeatable method of changing the Fuji GX617 from horizontal to vertical orientation without disturbing the tripod setup or camera balance.

The system is built around the Arca-Swiss mounting systems, allowing photographers already familiar with this platform to work confidently in the field.

Horizontal Operation

Attach the CF 617 TL Bracket securely to the Fuji GX617.

Slide or attach the horizontal section of the bracket into your Arca-Swiss product. Clamp and lock it firmly into position.

The camera is now configured for standard horizontal panoramic photography.

Changing to Vertical Orientation

When a vertical composition is required:

Release the camera from the tripod head using the quick-release mechanism. Rotate the camera and bracket assembly through 90 degrees. Insert the L-section of the bracket into your Arca-Swiss product. Clamp and lock it firmly into position. Lock the camera securely into position. Continue photographing in the vertical orientation.

The conversion requires only a few seconds and does not require repositioning the tripod or changing camera settings if your composition is correct.
